Sweet friends

I just thought this picture was too cute not to share. One night several of us took a walk around the neighborhood and Kristie and Jenn jumped in this heap of bluebonnets. Aren't the precious!! I feel so blessed to know these two amazing women and look forward to maany more pictures like this.

First of all.... My friend Emily makes me laugh so much! I have so much fun with her. Most of our life together has been/is spent giggling. Even though we don't see each other as often as we should, our relationship is one of my favorites not only for the depth but for the fun we have. She is one of the most genuine, funny, kind, and giving people that I know. Last night I had the privilege of hanging out with her and making many funny memories. Texas Sized Shindig

Last night we had the honor of getting together with"group" and our hubbies to celebrate our friendships with the Powells who will soon (too soon) be leaving us. It was a joyous evening with many memories and many heartfelt sad moments as well. We had great BBQ and delecious desserts. Abby (Mrs. Abby) decorated so cute!

The Turkey on I-20

If you are ever driving down I-20 west of Fort Worth and crash into to something it might just be kin to the turkey that I just hit, or that hit me. True story: The other day while I was minding my own business, driving down the highway, a turkey flew right into my windshield and here are the results of the collision. Final Score: Haley 1 vs Turkey 0. (Although that he did cost me a new windshield.)

Mama's Day Out

Today several of my closest friends and I somehow managed to leave all of the children at home and ventured over to Harry Hines for some shopping. We sincerly missed MegHan, but had many'o'laughs. I am so blessed to have these women in my life! This is my favorite picture of one of them. (Sadly it is not a pic of today but it fit).

The Beloved Bumbo

It is a sad, sad day! Somehow my Hudini of a child wiggled her way out of the Bumbo today while I was checking email. She was right beside me, sitting and playing with toys. When I looked down she was laying on her belly on the floor. HOW DID SHE DO THAT??
